Moto Planet | Return and Refunds


Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We reserve the right to refuse to offer a refund or to offer only a partial refund if an unwanted or unsuitable product is returned to us showing signs of having already been fitted or used.

Any returned products which have been supplied correctly by ourselves in the first instance and returned damaged or not in their original packaging will be subject to a restocking fee or may be sent back to the customer.

Please make sure to include your order number on any return package.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 working days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us a message via: Contact Us


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Painted Products

Our suppliers strive for the perfect colour match for each and every one of their painted products. However, we do need to make our customers aware of the fact that our long experience in this field has taught us that it is impossible to guarantee a 100% colour match. Lighting and individual perception of a painted surface and its colour all play a part. We, therefore, reserve the right to decline a return request based on a query relating to colour match.

Made To Order Products

If a special order is made (e.g. not a stock item) at the customer's request and then the customer cancels their order after the product has already been shipped to/received by us, but before we ship the product on to them, we reserve the right to charge a 25% handling and stocking fee. This is due to the fact that we are unable to return stock to the manufacturer once delivered unless there is a genuine fault with the product.
